Of late, perpetual care has been lost in Forest Lawn Cemetery's Mission Statement. On two occasions recently, I visited grave sites of family members. My family has owned plots there since 1967. The grounds of the cemetery are not maintained, examples: grass growing over grave markers (some to the extent that the markers were not legible), no edging done around the markers, flowers blown out of vases were run over by mowers and tiny pieces of flowers remain strewn over the grass, bare spots where grass had died, places where the earth under a marker has broken down and no attempt to remedy. It is a dishonor and disgrace to the people buried here and the families who visit.
